Add the online ordering app
It’s super easy to add the online ordering app to Facebook:
- In the Admin Panel, go to the Facebook section under Publishing and click on Start installation
- Select the Facebook page where the ordering app should appear:
3. Click on Validate
4. Refresh your page, and you’ll see a new tab added, See MENU & Order.
Basic customization
Since this tab generates revenue, you might want to move it higher in the list. To do so:
- In Facebook page, click on Settings (right upper corner)
- Go to the Templates and Tabs section and scroll to get to the tabs list.
- Simply drag and drop the See MENU & Order tab to the desired position.
In case you need to change the name of the app, here’s how:
- In Facebook page, click on Settings (right upper corner)
- Go to the Edit Page section, e scroll to get to the tabs list.
- Click on the Settings button corresponding to the See MENU & Order tab
- One more click on Edit Settings
5. In the small pop-up that appears you can change the name of the tab.
Use the page’s primary button for ordering
Make sure you also customize the main call to action of the page (the blue button) to point to online ordering.
- Click on the blue button
- Go to Shop with you and select Shop Now
3. In the pop-up paste the link provided in the Admin Panel (in the Publishing -> Facebook (Shop Now) section)
